1000 Goans would be left jobless, fears Corporation

Corporation sources have raised apprehensions that if its subsidised scheme comes to a halt, nearly 1000 Goans employed would be rendered jobless.
“Some 1000 Goans are directly or indirectly employed through the scheme. But if the scheme stops, then it would affect their earning. The Corporations had launched the scheme for the benefit of Goan families, especially in the rural areas,” said an official.
