11 more file papers for Valpoi

Eleven candidates filed their nominations before returning officer Gaurish Kuttikar on Saturday to contest elections to the Valpoi Municipal Council (VMC).
The total number of candidates who have filed their nominations till Saturday has risen to 36.
Incidentally, no one has filed nominations in Ward 1 OBC (lady) and Ward 3 (ST Candidate) till Saturday.
According to sources, those who filed nominations on Saturday were Tukaram B Haldankar (Ward 2), Ramesh Mhadeo Gawas (Ward 4), Fahmida Khan and Prajokta Prasad Teli (Ward 7), Sanjay Mhadeo Sakalkar (Ward 8), Mohmmad Sharif Khan, Yussuf Yacub Sheikh, Usman Salekhan, Wassiyuddin Sayed and Riyaz Khan (Ward 9)and Latifa Bi Khan (Ward 10).
