PANJIM: State Government on Tuesday promoted eleven junior scale officers to the senior scale level on ad-hoc basis.
On the recommendation of the local Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), promoted eleven junior scale officers for a period of six months or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
The promoted officers include Neetal Amonkar, Arvind Khutkar, Pipi Murgaonkar, Sagun Velip, Sushma Kamat, Maria D’Souza, Gourish Shankhwalkar, Mahadev Araundekar, Harish Adconkar, Sarita Marathe and Sangeeta Porob.
In an order issued, Additional Secretary (personnel) Yetindra Maralkar has said that the officers on ad-hoc promotion shall not bestow on the promoted officers any claim for regular promotions and service rendered on ad-hoc basis in the grade will not count for the purpose of seniority in that grade or for eligibility or promotion to the next higher grade.
