14 GCS senior scale officers promoted

PANJIM, NOV 4 
On Thursday, 14 senior scale officers of the Goa Civil Service were in for some good news on the eve of Diwali. They have been promoted to junior administrative grade with immediate effect.  
The promoted officers are Sandip Jacques, S V Naik (Director Administration, Goa Medical College), Swapnil Naik (Director Tourism), Elvis Gomes (Commissioner Corporation of the City of Panjim), Margaret Fernandes (Managing Director Goa SC and OBC Finance Development Corporation), Candida Fernandes (Director Administration, Kala Academy), Prasad Lolienkar (Director Art and Culture), G P Naik (Collector South Goa), N D Agarwal (Director Government Printing Press),J B Bhingui (Chief Executive Officer Goa Daman and Diu Khadi and Village Industries Board), Gopalkrishna Padgaonkar (Secretary Goa Konkani Akademi), D B Shanke (Panchayats Additional Director-I), Yatindra Maralkar (Joint Secretary Personnel), Sanjiv Gadkar (Director Women and Child Development) and Michael D’Souza (Director Science, Technology and Environment).
The order issued today states their current postings, however, will remain the same.
