PANJIM: In a major relief for the State, which has 7 active cases of COVID-19; 16 samples have tested negative on Sunday.
The Health Department’s daily media bulletin for Sunday states that 16 samples have tested negative while reports of 66 samples are awaited and another 23 samples are sent for testing.
Four COVID-19 suspects are placed under hospital isolation, one under facility quarantine and 200 persons are home quarantined. At present, 28 patients are in GMC isolation whereas all 7 positive cases are undergoing treatment at ESI Hospital, Margao, dedicated for COVID-19 treatment.
As per information shared on Sunday morning, 18 COVID-19 tests conducted in GMC on Saturday tested negative.
