2 structures demolished  at Benaulim

The South Goa demolition squad on Thursday headed to Benaulim to raze down a stair case and wall of premises, only to find the two structures demolished by the concerned party.
Salcete Block Development Officer, Uday Prabhudessai led the demolition squad to Benaulim following the requisition made by the Benaulim Panchayat in view of the directions of the high court dated December 18, 2009.
Upon reaching the venue, the demolition squad found the stair case and wall razed down by the party. In fact, the party found the wall demolished and the concrete slab supported by wooden logs. The BDO said his office will now inform the high court on the compliance of the order by the party.
