The Colva police have arrested three persons from Mumbai for rioting after they bashed up a DJ, besides security guards at a starred hotel late Sunday night.
The trio were later released on bail.
DySP Umesh Gaonkar informed that a group of 10-15 persons demanded that the DJ play a particular number at a party at a starred hotel. As the DJ refused, they assaulted the DJ and also the security guards who intervened during the rioting.
Three members of the group were later rounded up by the police and later booked for rioting and assault. The police are investigating.
