The Margao Municipal Council has served memos on the four employees seeking explanation for recording their attendance on the muster roll during lunch break for the post lunch session.
The memos comes against the backdrop of an incident wherein a senior Civic employee reportedly joined duties 15 minutes late.
Chief Officer, Y B Tawde confirmed that the four employees have been told to give their explanation on their decision to sign the muster roll at the lunch break for the post lunch session.
The Chief Officer informed that his office will initiate action against the employees after they reply to the memos.
