PANJIM: In a sweeping order, the Government of Goa has effected a major reshuffle of its Class I officers by transferring a total of 40 officers.
According to the content of the order, the transfers will be operational as long as the model code of conduct is in force and shall report back to their positions after the completion of the election process.
Damodar Morajkar, who is the Chief Officer (CO) of Mapusa Municipal Council, has been transferred as Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO) of the Tillari Irrigation Corporation at Colvale. Narayan Gad, the present Under Secretary Home-I has been made CO of Mapusa Municipal Council. Devidas Gaonkar, incumbent Asst Commissioner of Commercial Taxes has sent as Additional Deputy collector (Rent Control) at Mapusa. Snehal Gotlekar, Asst Commissioner of commercial taxes has been made Assistant Commissioner of Excise-I at Panjim.
Siddhi Halarnkar, Deputy Director (Admn) Water Resources Department has been transferred as Dy Director (Admn.) in the Women and Child Development office. Anthony D’Souza, North Goa Dy Collector (Land Acquisition) at Panjim has been made the Forest Settlement Officer at Valpoi. R D Mirajkar, dy collector and SDM at Quepem has been made the deputy registrar at Goa College of Engineering Farmagudi, Ponda. Deepak Bandekar Asst Director of Mines and Geology has been transferred as CO of Ponda Municipal Council.
Pravin Barad, incumbent dy director (panchayats) South (Margao) has been transferred as CO of Quepem Municipal Council.
Sandhya Kamat, dy collector (DRO), South (Margao) has been transferred to Quepem as dy collector and SDO.
Anju Kerkar, Joint Mamlatdar-II of Pernem has been made Joint Mamlatdar-I of Bardez. Trupti Manerkar, Jt Mamlatdar, Sattari has been posted as Jt Mamlatdar-III of Bardez. Neetal Amonkar the Joint Mamlatdar-III Bardez is posted as Joint Mamlatdar-I Sattari.
Pravin Parab the mamlatdar of Quepem has been made the mamlatdar of Ponda. Joao Fernandes Jt mamlatdar-II of Salcete has been made Joint Mamlatdar-III Ponda. Varsha Mandrekar Jt mamlatdar-I of Quepem is now Jt mamlatdar-I of Mormugao. Sangeeta Naik Jt mamlatdar-III Ponda is now Jt mamlatdar-II Salcete. Rajesh Azgaonkar Jt mamlatdar-I Canacona has been posted as Jt Mamlatdar-III Salcete. Amul Gaonkar, mamlatdar, Ponda has been deputed as mamlatdar of Quepem. Shankar Gaonkar Jt Mamlatdar-I of Sanguem has been sent as Jt mamlatdar-I of Quepem.
Upasana Majgaonkar, SLAO of Tillari Irrigation Corporation, Colvale has been made Under Secretary (Home-I), Catherine Fernandes, dy director (Admn) of Women and Child Development office has been made Asst Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Panjim. H A Ali dy registrar, Goa Engineering College Farmagudi has been posted as dy director (Admn) Water Resources department. Maya Pednekar, jt Mamlatdar-I of Mormugao has been posted as Jt mamlatdar-II at Pernem. Triveni Paik Velip the Jt Mamlatdar-III Salcete has been made the Asst director civil supplies, Panjim.
Other officers have been given additional charge–Meena Priolkar, Under Secretary, Finance (Budget-II) shall hold additional charge of the post of Under Secretary, Finance (expenditure).
Neela Dharwadkar, Under Secretary (Revenue-II) shall hold charge of the post of Under Secretary (Revenue-I) in addition to her own duties. Irene Sequeira, dy director (Admn.) Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services shall hold additional charge of the post of administrator of Communidade, South Zone, Margao.
Vasudev P Shetye, Dy director (Admn) Forest Department shall hold additional charge of the post of dy collector (LA), North.
Madhu Narvekar, Jt Mamlatdar-I Salcete, shall hold additional charge of the post of Jt mamlatdar-I, Sanguem in addition to her own duties. Sudin Natu, mamlatdar, Canacona shall hold additional charge of the post of Jt mamlatdar-I Canacona.
All transfers will come into force with immediate effect and have been issued according to instructions from Election Commission of India.
