6 more cases in Curchorem

CURCHOREM: Another six persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday in the Curchorem Up-graded Primary Health Centre jurisdiction.

According to the official from the Centre, a 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman from Pongirval-Pontemoll ward of Curchorem-Cacora Municipality tested positive.

A 34-years-old resident of Cacora, a 55-year-old local from Bag-Xelvona, a 54-year-old Assolda resident and 40-year-old local of Kirlapal-Dabal tested positive.

“As on August 6, the Curchorem Health Centre registered 30 COVID active cases,” informed the official.

Meanwhile the CCMC’s Cariamoddi ward councillor informed that a person from his ward was shifted to COVID care centre after testing positive on Tuesday and the report of his sister and mother came negative.
