70-yr-old man killed in mishap

A 70-year-old man from Betki died, after he was knocked down by a two-wheeler at Betki on Monday at about 1.30 pm.
According to Ponda Police, Dattu Gaonkar was knocked down by a two-wheeler. The scooter rider shifted the injured to Betki PHC and after Gaonkar complained of pain in the head, he was referred to GMC Hospital in Bambolim, where he breathed his last.
