PANJIM: Over 700 aspiring teachers attended the walk-in-interview held to fill up 88 posts in government primary schools on contract basis against the leave vacancies. The Directorate of Education had conducted interviews for three days from November 7 across all 12 talukas.
Director Education Shailesh Zingade told Herald that over 700 applications were received and the Departmental Selection Committee will shortlist the candidates by this week.
“From next week, we should be able to appoint the new recruits on contract basis,” he said.
