panjim: A total of 536 people tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, while eight people succumbed to the virus.
The day also saw another set of 395 persons recovering. Since January 29, Goa has reported 29, 879 confirmed coronavirus cases, of which 5,646 are active cases. Total deaths reported are 376 and 23,857 patients have recovered.
As per the daily health bulletin, the victims included a 75-year-old female from Old Goa, 77-year-old male from Aldona, 74-year- old male from Chorao, 49-year-old male from Ponda, 81-year-old male from Vasco, 76-year-old-female from Vasco, 50-year-old male from Aquem and a 55-year-old female from Malbhat, Margao.
