Ahead of the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections, the Aam Aadmi Party held two major election strategy meetings—on Thursday with South Goa candidates in Velim and with North Goa candidates in Panjim yesterday.
Both meetings focused on detailed campaign planning, micro-level booth preparedness, and effective outreach strategies. Candidates were first invited to share their on-ground experiences, after which senior leaders addressed their concerns collectively.

The meetings were addressed by AAP Goa incharge Atishi, State President Adv Amit Palekar, MLA Capt Venzy Viegas, MLA Engr Cruz Silva, Working Presidents Valmiki Naik and Gerson Gomes, General Secretary Shrikrishna Parab, Senior Vice President Prashant Naik, and other senior leaders.
“Our early announcement of candidates and the launch of our campaign has given us a tremendous head start. In many constituencies, our candidates have already completed 100% door-to-door coverage in several villages. This is the advantage of sincerity, planning, and discipline” said AAP State President Adv Amit Palekar.
“The failure of the BJP government is visible everywhere, and people will surely convey that message through these ZP polls. It was the government’s responsibility to maintain law and order—they failed. It was their responsibility to provide proper roads—they failed. They couldn’t even provide basic healthcare. People today are suffering because of BJP’s incompetence, and through this election, Goans will give a strong answer,” stated MLA Captain Venzy Viegas.
MLA Eng Cruz Silva stated that the AAP’s politics were fundamentally different. “While other parties rely on money and muscle power, AAP has reached more than 20,000 families across Goa through free health camps—without being in power. We have served people sincerely, and that is why citizens trust us. Our work speaks louder than the noise of traditional politics,” Silva stated.
