PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party has slammed Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao’s comments on Oximitra campaign saying the remarks are laughable.
AAP was once again attacked by another idle MLA for doing what should have been his and the government’s job.

Rahul Mhambre, AAP’s Goa Convenor said, this comment is as laughable as it is wrong and dangerous. Oximeters are a proved tool globally to combat coronavirus.
“We also note that this speech if Alemao doesn’t know how to help the people suffering from he should atleast not stop those who know how to from helping. We want to ask Alemao, what have you done for the coronavirus patients of Goa? As an MLA how many times have you questioned the BJP government on how they have failed to provide care,” Mhambre said.
He also asked where was Churchill when people were forced to sleep on the floor in Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim? What were his views on the rise in cases in Goa? What he has done to protect his voters in Benaulim?
“Oximeters have been a globally recognised tool for corona care and are the easiest way to check a patient’s oxygen levels. Alemao seems to think that he knows better than the entire global medical community. We can only laugh at his statements,” he added.
“It’s clear that our #GoansAgainstCorona campaign has scared idle MLAs. To them I have only one thing to say, either start helping Goans or move out of the way,” Mhambre remarked.
Churchill said that the government is doing well on COVID-19 management, if is it so can Churchill tell us that where are the Oximeter kits which were supposed to be given to the home isolation patients? Why a renowned Indian Medical Association doctor Dr Godinho has lost his life due to lack of facilities?
