MARGAO: Benaulim Nationalist Congress Party MLA Churchill Alemao on Saturday said that the Aam Aadmi Party’s Oximitra campaign won’t benefit the people during the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
“What will you do with the person if his oxygen is gone below the referral range?” questioned Churchill.

He said that the only thing that can save the patients is a ventilator and oxygen.
Churchill labelled the AAP campaign as an activity focussed on the next Assembly election in the State.
“The Chief Minister is doing a wonderful job in battling the pandemic situation but the Health Department has to make some improvements as far as saving lives of COVID-19 affected people are concerned,” he added.
“I am with the people of Goa in the protests against the coal transportation and double-tracking of the railway. However, it was the job of the Members of Parliament of Goa to put up a case against the projects with the Central government and inform that the State doesn’t want these projects because of land constraints. We have elected them,” Churchill mentioned.
