PONDA: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which made a thunderous debut at the recent Delhi assembly polls, has already begun holding corner meetings for its volunteers in view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls in the State.
According to AAP volunteers, there is growing response for AAP throughout the State and they claimed to have support from people affiliated to political parties as well.
“On December 19, there will be a meeting of AAP and whoever wishes to join our campaign can come for the meeting. AAP will contest both the Lok Sabha seats,” said AAP volunteer Valmiki Naik during an AAP corner meeting in Ponda on Sunday evening.
AAP is confident of winning both the North and South Goa seats during the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. “Everyone knows what happened in Delhi (assembly election). AAP is not like other parties and the elected representatives under AAP will work in the interest of the public. People will be the decision makers and we are confident of people’ support in Goa,” said another AAP volunteer, Rajendra Kakodkar.
