PANJIM: The ABVP has condemned the violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) while denying any involvement in the attack wherein masked goons assaulted students and teachers with sticks and rods within the campus.
Addressing a press conference in the capital on Wednesday, the ABVP has blamed Left students for the attack. “We are not involved in the attack but it’s the Left groups. They should be boycotted,” ABVP members Hrishikesh Shetgaonkar.
Among 23 students injured in the attack, 15 were ABVP students. “So how can we be involved,” he questioned.
The ABVP also questioned presence of Yogendra Yadav soon after the attack in the campus.
