VALPOI: Valpoi police on Thursday arrested a man in connection with the murder of his wife at Keri-Sattari murder case and he has been remanded to seven days police custody.
It may be recalled that the police had suspected Zano Zore of murdering his wife, Bhagyaratee (27) late Wednesday evening. Police had detained the accused for interrogation on Wednesday.
When contacted, PI Sanjay Dalvi informed that the post-mortem report revealed that Bhagyaratee had died due to deep injury with a sharp weapon on her neck.
“The accused, who has so far not confessed to committing the crime, has been taken into custody for further investigation after Bicholim Court remanded him to seven days police custody,” informed PI Dalvi.
