MARGAO: South Goa district Collector N D Agrawal has sought additional time of three months to complete the process of demolition of the illegal structures atop Moti Dongor and Talsanzor.

In his application filed in the High Court, the District Collector sought additional time considering fresh show-cause notices, which will result in personal hearings that go on for a long time. “Personal hearings of around 252 persons will take considerable time. Secondly, the Administrator has to take a decision and further the same has to be executed. This will require another three months time for proper implementation of the Order dated 09/08/2012 in PILWP 16/2012,” Agrawal said in his application seeking three months time to carry out the demolition exercise and comply with the court directives.
