The school authorities and PTA had highlighted that shifting of market complex opposite to the girls’ school will not be accepted since it will disturb the peace, safety and security of the school. They said that the children’s wellbeing will not be compromised leading to increased exposure to incidents such as eve teasing, exposure to strangers, unhealthy eating and drinking habits, sexual offences since once the market is shifted, it will lead to movement of people in this area.

The PTA and school authorities also said that it will lead to traffic chaos, increase risk of accidents, community problems and many more, which will affect the school children. The parents have suggested that by dropping the proposal to shift the market at this new location, the acquired land can be utilised to set up alternate project such as sports and playing zone.
