Anjuna villagers demand closure of massage parlour

PANJIM: Almost 50 villagers from Anjuna have signed a complaint against a notorious spa and massage parlour operating from a well known resort near Anjuna Petrol Pump demanding that its operations be shut.

PANJIM: Almost 50 villagers from Anjuna have signed a complaint against a notorious spa and massage parlour operating from a well known resort near Anjuna Petrol Pump demanding that its operations be shut.
The complaint, served to the local Police Station at Anjuna, has also been submitted to the office of SP North Goa and Crime Branch, local MLA and Minister Vinod Palyekar, Anjuna Caisua Panchyat and the office of the Chief Minister. 
It states that the under the banner of spa and massage parlour a person from Bardez is operating a prostitution business and this is not a secret in the village. 
It also mentions that the operator has hired over 15 females for the purpose of prostitution and often tourists are cheated and looted by pimps.
Villagers have demanded that a FIR be lodged against the person involved in prostitution and to stop the operation of the illegal den that is giving the village a bad name. Villagers also demanded that the person be extradited from Anjuna.
Anjuna Police Inspector C L Patil confirmed receiving the complaint against the spa and massage parlour and said they are verifying the facts and accordingly action would be initiated.
