In a joint enforcement drive, multiple government departments, including Anjuna Police, the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) authority, the Talathi, Mamledar and the Electricity Department, sealed the popular Curlies Restaurant and Bar located on Anjuna beach. Officials said the action was taken following alleged violations of CRZ norms and related regulations. Curlies has earlier been under scrutiny by authorities. Officials added that the latest sealing forms part of an intensified statewide crackdown on illegal structures and regulatory violations along Goa’s coastline, aimed at ensuring safety, legal compliance and environmental protection.
