PONDA: Anmod Ghat will be open for all kinds of vehicles starting from 7 pm on January 25.
The District Collector of Karwar has been instructed to finalize the concrete construction near the railway crossing. The road had been temporarily shut down for heavy traffic from January 5 to 25 to facilitate the concrete laying work.
However, there are indications that the road may face closure once again in March due to pending construction activities on the national highway.
The District Collector of Karwar had mandated a 20-day closure of the road for heavy traffic to carry out concrete laying near the railway crossing at Anmod Ghat. Subsequently, the work near the railway crossing has been completed, and normal traffic flow is set to resume from Thursday evening.
