MARGAO: The JMFC on Tuesday heard the arguments on the bail applied by six of the seven persons accused of assaulting notorious criminal Anwar Shaikh.
The order will now be pronounced on March 4. Ricky Hornekar and Vipul Pattari had been remanded to 10 days judicial custody and 5 others to 4 days police custody.
However, their judicial custody and police custody ended on Tuesday.
Except for Imran Bepari, the others had applied for bail.
The accused had assaulted Anwar Shaikh, a criminal at Arlem with a sharp weapon and also shot at him with a firearm on February 16.
The Fatorda Police have issued a lookout notice against two other accused namely Vally da Costa and Amir Gawandi.
