Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland today said its total sales declined 73.17 per cent to 2,444 units in January 2009, as compared to 9,112 units over the corresponding month last year.
The domestic sales stood at 2,026 units last month with a fall of 76.1 per cent, whereas it was 8,477 units in January 2008.
The exports fell 34.17 per cent to 418 units from 635, the Chennai-based company said.
