PERNEM: Subhash Asolkar has been elected unopposed as the new Sarpanch of Mandrem Village Panchayat on Tuesday. Asolkar took over the post from Ashweta Mandrekar who served as sarpanch from February 2021.
The newly elected sarpanch expressed hope that he will fulfill the expectations of the villagers with the support of Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte.
