Kala Academy, Panjim will start the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Performing Arts from August 1, 2018.
Art and Culture Minister said that this will give new platform for all aspiring Goan artistes.
Further, he stated, that recruitment process of teachers has already been approved.
“In the next 20 days we should start with recruitment of teachers,” he said. He said that Art and Culture is one only medium that can take the Goan economy on its shoulders.
“We need to promote hinterland tourism and culture which can generate revenue,” he said. On proposal from Deputy Speaker Michael Lobo, Gaude said, “If land is given or identified, I will give priority for a Ravindra Bhavan in Bardez.”
