Bail plea hearing in Saligao suicide case today

The bail application petition in the suicide case of a woman from Saligao, in which mother-son duo was arrested by Calangute Police, will be heard in District Sessions Court Panjim on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that Calangute Police had arrested Reshma Korgaonkar’s husband Sagar and her mother-in-law Chandrawati nearly after 17 days of the incident at their residence in Saligao.
Calangute Police registered a case of suicide and after the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mapusa, directed the Calangute Police to register a FIR, Sagar and Chandrawati were arrested for allegedly murdering Reshma.
Vasco-based lawyer Rajan Naik, who is representing the accused, informed media that the District Session Court Panjim will hear the bail application of mother-son duo on Wednesday.
