PANJIM: The National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhi dismissed appeals filed by three Baina residents praying to stay the order of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) to demolish their illegal structures and to restore the land to its original condition.
Parshuram Kolkar, Lakawa Harijan and Suresh Chinnaswami had filed appeals against the GCZMA’s impunged order to demolish their structures built within prohibited distance from the High Tide Line (HTL) at Baina Beach.
