VASCO: In a raid conducted by Vasco police on Saturday evening, a youth from Baina was arrested for being in possession of 38 grams of ganja worth Rs 3800.
Based on specific information that a local youth has been selling drugs to his prospective customers in Baina and Vasco area, a team of Vasco police laid a trap and caught Shaikh Salman red handed.
On search his person, police found that he was in illegal possession of 38.78 grams of ganja. Police have seized also ATM card, driving license and cash of Rs 1600. The accused was arrested for contravening section 20(b) (ii)(B) of the NDPS Act 1985.
