MARGAO: Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao has demanded that the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) events like Sunburn be stopped forthwith.
Alleging that such events have become vehicles of drug abuse in the State, Churchill has claimed that there is 70% drop in footfall of quality tourists in Goa.
Addressing the media here, Churchill said, “Whatever is going on in Goa has to stop in 2020.”
“EDMs have been happening in Goa for nearly a decade and it does not happen without drugs,” he said.
