BICHOLIM: The BBSM convenor and RSS Goa Prant chief, Subhash Velingkar stated that they would support the MGP if they break ties with BJP on the issue of seat sharing else they would field their own candidates against both the parties.
Velingkar was speaking recently on his visit to Bicholim.
“We have given the option to MGP to break ties with BJP and take our support. This could be done at any point of time and if the MGP-BJP talks on seat sharing fail they could join us,” Velingkar stated.
He ruled out support to AAP for the election.
“If MGP is not breaking ties we would give them strong opposition in their constituency,” Velingkar said adding, “the registration of the party is in full swing and by October 2, we would announce the party name along with the names of the candidate.”
“We already have candidates in 35 constituencies and short-listing of these candidates is going on. We would announce the names on October 2,” he said.
