BHEL FY09 net up 6.29% at Rs 3,039 cr

State-run engineering equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) today said its net profit rose 6.29 per cent to Rs 3,039 crore for the financial year ended March 2009, compared to Rs 2,859 crore during the last fiscal.
