Bidders asked to lift e-auctioned cargo by Oct 31

PANJIM: The Directorate of Mines and Geology has extended the deadline for successful bidders and other parties to lift the e-auctioned iron ore cargo lying at mining leases or plots across the State to October 31 this year.

The extension has been granted upon request received from various parties. The extension is applicable for all successful bidders of up to 27th e-auction cargo from primary location.

In April this year, the State government had asked the successful bidder to lift the iron ore from primary location before May 31. The date was later extended to June 6.

Incidentally the e-auction procedure had prescribed a maximum period of not more than 60 days to lift the cargo.
