PANJIM: BJP candidate Sidharth Kuncalienker filed a complaint at Panjim Police Station against two unknown persons for attacking his vehicle and disappearing from the scene late Thursday night near the Maruti temple at Mala.
In his complaint, Kuncalienker stated, “At about 12.28 am when our vehicle reached near the Maruti temple, my driver all of a sudden swerved the vehicle towards the left and at the same time we heard loud noise of banging some object on the bonnet of the vehicle. Due to this sudden attack we stopped the vehicle and saw two persons wearing black colour helmets on a motorcycle.”
He further said that the two persons pelted a bottle containing some liquid on the car with the intention to grievously assault him.
Police informed that an FIR has been lodged in the case under Section 336 and 427 of Indian Penal Code.
