MARGAO: Bharatiya Janata Party’s spokesperson Urfan Mulla on Tuesday condemned the attack of Navelim youth and stated that persons involved in criminal activities are supported by political leaders.
Speaking to the media at Margao he said that attack on such innocent people is equal to an attack on the full family of the victim.

“Our party has full support to the victim youth. It is no more secret that who is supporting such type of incidents. Local MLA is fully responsible for this act”, he alleged.
He further alleged that the local political leaders are using the youth involved in criminal activities at the time of elections.
It may be recalled that the a case of attempt to murder was registered against two persons Ayub Sayed and Anil Kumar from Khareband after they severely assaulted Cenvi Pires from Telaulim, Navelim..
