PANJIM: As the mining crisis in the State continues amidst demands to restart the activity, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Tuesday said that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can bail the State out of this situation.
“We are confident that Prime Minister can resolve the issue of mining in Goa. We should not think that he is ignoring the issue. He is aware of the situation,” Rane said.
He recalled that the State government’s delegation had visited Delhi and contacted the PMO. “Congress is not coming up with constructive suggestions. They are only making statements. They should give in writing to the Chief Minister’s office how we can resolve the crisis,” he added.
