PANJIM: Differences between BJP and Congress deepened further with the former throwing an open challenge to the Opposition party spokesperson to win a panchayat election.
In a press release issued on Saturday evening, BJP asked Congress spokesperson Yatish Naik to win at least a panchayat election before commenting on four time MP Shripad Naik.
“Paper tiger like Yatish has no credentials to comment on a personality like Shripad Naik who has won Parliamentary poll four times. Yatish should at least win in panchayat election before commenting on such a tall personality,” BJP spokesman Dattaprasad Naik said.
Yatish had doubted the work of the two Lok Sabha MPs in Goa claiming they have failed to take up Goa related issues in the Parliament.
