PANJIM: A delegation led by BJP’s Taleigao Mandal chief Dattaprasad Naik met PWD Principal Chief Engineer D J S Borkar on Tuesday in connection with pending development works in view of the approaching monsoon.
Naik said that besides development works the major issue for Taleigao residents is shortage of water due to the irregular supply.
He said there are incomplete roads which need to be hot mixed and there is a delay in laying the sewage pipeline.
Naik submitted a memorandum to PWD demanding the immediate start of all works and their completion before the monsoon.
Borkar on hearing the grievances instructed his officers to update him on a daily basis on the works.
and also assured that he will monitor the works.
