Body fished out from River Zuari

Vasco police on Sunday afternoon recovered a male body floating in Zuari River near Matvem, Dabolim.
According to Vasco police, the deceased, suspected to be in his fifties, was found to be in a decomposed manner, which was beyond identification.
Police have sent body for autopsy at Hospicio Hospital, Margao and is investigating the case.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old native of Karnataka died after he fell off a three-storeyed building near Gomteshwar Tempe, Sasmollem Baina, Vasco, on Saturday at about 11.15 pm.
According to Vasco police, Jaffar Gafursab Kittur, residing at Katem Baina, died on the spot after he fell down from a three-storeyed building while undertaking waterproofing work.
Vasco police has handed the body over to his relatives and registered a case of unnatural death.
