Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao scored a solitary goal win over Football Club of Siolim, in the all-Goa inter-village football tournament organised by Odxel Sports Club at Dr Alvaro Remigio grounds, Taleigao on Monday.
Sao Miguel opened the scoring in the 25th minute through striker Francisco Rebello who netted in off a neat pass from forward Thomson.
Throughout the second session, the Taleigao forwards gave a tough time to Siolim goalkeeper Joston Britto, who demonstrated brilliant saves from rival strikers.
Taleigao earned two yellow cards for Cedric and Joaquim for tripping, while Siolim got one for similar offence for Sandip.
