In an unusual incident, a person who stole a truck was killed after the vehicle plunged into a deep valley at Dharbandora.
According to reports, the deceased Shekappa Shankarpur of Bijapur-Karnataka allegedly stole the truck, which was parked at Pansule-Dharbandora.
He started proceeding towards Mollem, when the truck skidded off into the valley near a sugar factory at Dharbandora.
Earlier, truck owner Sham Sangodkar, who found his truck missing, found his truck in the valley, a few metres away from Pansule.
Sangodkar lodged a compliant at Ponda police station.
