Valpoi Police have registered a case of negligence against four teachers and two tour operators following the drowning death of an 11th Standard student during a school excursion.
According to police, the students were allegedly taken to a wildlife area without obtaining the required permission. The students were also allegedly allowed to enter a waterfall area despite the potential safety risks.

The incident resulted in the drowning of an 11th Standard boy during the excursion.
Police have booked the four teachers and two tour operators in connection with the alleged safety lapses. The two tour operators have also been arrested as part of the investigation.
Police are continuing their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the student’s death and the alleged failure to follow required safety and permission procedures during the school trip.
