VALPOI: A decomposed body was found in forest area at Ravan village in Sattari, on Friday afternoon.
According to the informants, when they had gone to cashew plantations for planting more cashew trees, they found body in a decomposed position.
On being informed, Valpoi police went to spot and retrieved body; after conducting panchnama, the body has been sent for postmortem at Goa Medical College, Bambolim. Till the time of dispatch, police did not ascertain the identity of the body.
