MARGAO: Laganappa Dasagal, 50, resident of Majorda, Belgaum on Thursday evening found dead near railway track at a junction near Majorda. This is a second person found dead on the railway track in last two days. Dasagal used to reside in a rented room along with family near Majorda, said police.
Konkan Railway police said the station master Margao informed them about an unknown man lying near Majorda junction. When Police team, headed by PSI Tulsidas Madkaiker, visited the spot and they identified the body, with the help of the local.
Police conducted panchanama of the unnatural death. The body is preserved at the South Goa District Hospital morgue. Konkan Railway police are investigating the case.
