MARGAO: Even as the police have not yet been able to record the statement of Ruksana Khan, the mother of the two young men found dead in their apartment at Aquem four days ago, policea said they recorded the statement of Mohamed Juber Khan’s wife.
Mohamed, 29, was the elder brother, who was found dead in the apartment. Police refused to divulge any information about his wife’s statement on grounds that the matter is still under investigation.
While the two men lived with their mother at the apartment in Aquem, their father lived separately at Khareband as his relationship with their mother was strained.
