Builders asked to register with RERA

PANJIM: Goa Real Estate Regulatory Cell (RERA) has invited for registration of applications from the builders of new and upcoming projects. 

As per Section 4 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 applications are invited from the promoters/builders of new and ongoing projects in the prescribed Form.

“Forms A and B can be downloaded from the website: www.urban-goa.gov.in. Forms can also be obtained from the office of the Goa RERA. For ongoing projects applications for registration will be accepted up to 31/10/2017 without, levy of penalty” reads the notice

Further the registration fees are to be paid at the rate of Rs 10 per sq mts of land area subject to minimum of Rs 50,000 and maximum of Rs 10 lakhs while payment to be made by the demand draft to be issued in favour of “The Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Panjim.

Meanwhile, applications can be submitted on working days during office hours at the office of The Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority, RERA Cell, Town and Country Planning Department, Dempo Tower, Patto, Panjim.
