PONDA: By-elections to one ward in Usgao-Ganjem and another in Bandora panchayat will be held on July 13. Sukaram Gavde and Tukaram Gavde have filed their nominations. In Usgao Panchayat, the by-election to Ward 3 will be held after the court disqualified panch Deepa Naik. Sunanda Naik and Deepa Naik have filed their nominations. Counting of votes will be taken up at the mamlatdar office in Ponda on July 14.
