MARGAO: By-elections to Ward No 7 of Carmona panchayat and Ward 3 of Guirdolim local body will be held on November 25.
At the ballot counting for the Carmona ward No 6 bye-elections held on Sunday, Xavier Abrao Fernandes polled in 100 votes followed by Nesbith D’Costa (69) and Jack Soter Luis Fernandes (33).
Bye-elections have been necessitated in Ward No 3 of Guirdolim as the panch Flavia da Costa resigned and similarly in Carmona Venicio Carvalho resigned as panch from Ward No 7.
